Nominee
Not so lil' kickers
Brad Shuel is my Player of the Week Nominee for coming in relief as a pitcher and keeping the opposing team hitless over the final three innings in a 7 - 2 loss. While providing long relief, Brad also provided all of his team's production recording two rbi's to give his team a fighting chance.

Nick C.
Kicktease
Nick showed off his big time kicking power with his first ever home run. Instead of aiming for the short fence in right field, Nick instead decided to go to left field for this one, kicking it over the head of the left fielder and rounding the bases for the run.

Joey Burke
Goodnight and Big Balls
For years to come, people will be talking about that AMAZING kick that went over right field's fence. Joey Burke of Goodnight and Big Balls kicked a monster homerun on Monday night that has surpassed any distance record known to Denny Park. Great Boot, Joey!

Melissa Brown
Heavily Faulted
Last inning, tie game, 1 out, Melissa B is on 2nd and Big Pete comes to the plate. Pete kicks a mile long shot into the outfield, bringing Melissa who is road running the crap out of the bases, into home to WIN the game. It does NOT get more exciting than that! Awesome job MELISSA/PETE Combo!
Liz put forward one of the best all-around games seen in a long time. First base, catcher or where ever her team put her on defense, Liz stood out by making great plays. On offense her well positioned kicks kept the pressure on the opposing defense. Finally after getting run over at first base, she popped up like a champ showing her grit and heart. Well played Liz!

Nono Shinohara
Biziballers
Nono of the Biziballers had an amazing night kicking and on defense. She was the saving grace for her team @ 2nd, catching every fly ball in sight. She must have caught 2 per inning, preventing the Toe Jammers from catching a break. She also has seemed to darn near perfect the art of the bunt. W/her speed and strategic placement of these bunts, she was able to make it to first w/no problem going 5 for 5 at bat. Awsome job, NONO! And keep smiling!

Kylie Foster
Not so lil' kickers
This weeks Player of the Week goes to Kylie Foster who in case you didn't notice is a baller. On offense she kicked like a star and flew around the bases like an eagle. It was her defense, however, that really shined! Kylie must be a soccer player because she pulled off one of the best kick-outs I have ever seen. In the last inning from her second basemen position, she had low line drive coming her way, somehow she was able to one touch it straight to the first baseman with perfect accuracy! Well done Kylie! You're our Player of the Week!

jenn Harder
Tequila Mockingbirds
On a wet day where most players were having a hard time catching the slippery kickball, Jenn made one of the top plays of the year so far. The Guzzlers popped a short fly ball out to right field that had all the makings of a bloop single, but Jenn was having none of it. She charged in and executed a perfect slide to position herself under the ball to make an amazing catch with ease. Given the wet conditions, the difficulty level was taken up a notch on that one. Fantastic play Jenn!

They got soul power!
While they do not have a bunch of wins in the books, you wouldn't know it because "Not so lil' kickers" brings down the house with their spirit each and every week! If one of their players ever crosses the plate, you can expect their dugout to erupt with riotous yells and cheers. Even though they lost this week to a solid "Tequila Mockingbird" team, they still ran around laughing, smiling, and enjoying the wonderful game of kickball. That's what it's all about folks!. And that's why "Not so lil' kickers" is our Team of the Week! Congrats!

Alex Kilby
Biziballers
Being short handed the Biziballers knew they were going to have a tough road if they were going to pull out a victory. While they may not have come out on top, it was not for lack of trying on Alex's part. His booming kicks drove in 4 early runs and his hustle on defense kept the game close. Even during the late innings when his team faced a large deficit, Alex never quit. Fantastic effort and great game Alex!

Simon Clews
Kicktease
Perfect. That's what Simon was at the plate today. Four times up, four hits and four runs scored. You couldn't ask for a better day kicking. That was on time top of his fantastic defense as catcher and great sportsmanship. Congrats Simon, you definitely earned the Player of the Week!

Peggy Itschner
Tequila Mockingbirds
Peggy ripped a shot down the 3rd base line for extra bases, turned a double play and had 3 assists in the outfield. But Peggy's most memorable play was after swinging away with line shot after shot decided to bunt when her team was up by more than 9 runs and informed that all ladies must kick away!
It's one thing to kick a cycle (meaning kicking a single, double, triple, and home run all in the same game). It is a whole different thing to do it with style, which is exactly what T. J. Tischendorf of Tequila Mockingbirds did on Monday. T. J. got the home run out of the way early with a huge blast on his first at-bat. After making the double and single look easy, all T. J. needed was a triple to complete the ever elusive "cycle." The defense was on edge as T. J. stepped up to the plate. They shifted towards left field to adjust to his powerful right foot. So T. J. decided to show off his versatility by kicking a left-footed shot that bent right around first base barely landing fair. Once it got past the first baseman, the triple was effortless and the cycle was complete. Pretty impressive stuff from T. J., which is why he is our Player of the Week! Congrats T. J.!
