John of the "Honey Badgers" was the heart and soul of his team this week. Battling a injured ankle, John came out and competed just as a honey badger would. His speed was unmatched as John showed no sign of slowing down in this sand. He could cover every inch on the court and made the perfect pass to get his team going. Great job John!

On this extremely windy night, it would take a special player to master this obstacle. When everyone else was in a scramble to retrieve the ball, the crafty Lou had no problems at all. Lou used the wind to his advantage, changing the force he put into the ball depending on the wind. Going against the wind, Lou would hit the ball just hard enough for the ball to dip right after it cleared the net. He was an unbelievable craftsman at setting up his own points. Lou did it with the high spirited attitude and grace of a true Underdog player!

Wind, cold, and tough competition were no match for Camille's determination in Monday night's match ups on Alki. A unanimous vote for player of the game, Camille left it all on the court. Her team spirit, positive attitude, and dives win her player of the week. Her team, Just the Tip, cheered Camille for "rocking the strong arm." We cheer her for getting down and dirty, and doing it all with a smile. Congrats, Camille!

With a paddle, Mark Snyder wins player of the week. Paddleboarding to the game Mark brought some tough competition with him in style. You would think he would be tired from paddleboarding to the game, but that was not the case. He won player of the game as well as helped his team secure a win the week before playoffs. Hat's off to you Mark, and congrats on winning player of the week!

Nick Wichert of the Honey Badgers wins player of the week for the exciting playoffs we had on Monday. Like a badger on the hunt for some honey, Nick was on the hunt for a championship win. Nominated for his surprisingly soft tips and ball touches Nick and his fellow Honey Badgers took home the gold along some fresh Underdog champion t-shirts. Congrats to the Honey Badgers for taking the championship as well as the Mustachioed Marauders for taking their division championship as well.
