Spring Gentlemen's Flag Football at Juanita HS Sundays

Faruk of Thank You Come Again was the Player of the Week for his 4 TD receptions. Faruk was the go to receiver on numerous long passes, as he left the defender in his dust for scoring receptions. Faruk showed lots of speed and great route running showing everyone he is the star of the team. Faruk only had one dropped pass that would have gotten him another 6, but it slipped through his hands. Faruk came to the field after running a 12K earlier in the day, but it didn't slow him down at all, and somebody over heard he might head to the gym after his football game to get a work-out in. Faruk congrats on a great game, and hope you were able to walk the following day!

Justin was clutch when it counted, with the game on the line he made a huge catch to put the team in scoring position, then on the last play of the game with 3 seconds left caught the game winning TD in the back of the endzone for the thrilling 44-39 victory. Nice work Justin Frohawk.... if that is your real name.

This weeks player of the week goes to Matt G. for his numerous catches that helped his team move the chains. It seemed Matt was part of every clutch play in both games where they were victorious in one of. Matt came up big in the Win with a game sealing Pick 6 at the end of the game against a charging opponent. Matt's plays were the tough ones made between the goal-lines creating success for his teams offense. Great games Matt!
