In the semi-finals, all hope appeared to be lost for Malicious, as they trailed by 14 with four minutes remaining. However, they never gave up. First they scored a touchdown and a key two pointer. Then they needed a stop, and facing the precision of Green's offense, it was no easy task. But the defense stepped up, turning Green over on downs, but with precious little time remaining. Then, on the final play, Malicious scored a touchdown to tie the game, and on the ensuing one point attempt, James Ybarra made a great leaping catch in order to send his squad into the finals.
In the final game, the Reignmakers were a major hurdle, and didn't make it easy, however Malicious was able to hold them off 36-28.

Balls and Dolls earned their Champs Shirts on Sunday, coming through in the clutch with a 38-33 victory. Marvin Pineda came through, making a monster catch that made the difference. It is the first championship for Balls and Dolls, but if their late run of great play is an indicator of future success, it certainly won't be their last.
