This weeks honors go to the whole team of Mister Rogers' Dodgers. This squad came to the field ready to roll, and they did on both offense and defense. Defensively they only allowed 3 runs clogging all the gaps in the field and making hits tough for the opponent. While on offense they warmed up in the 3rd inning while scorig 0 runs in the first 2 innings they stuck in there and put up 20 by the end of the game. Great game Dodgers and goodluck with the rest of the season!

Tuesday night's game against Ball So Soft saw Ryan become a complete nightmare for the opposing team. Not only did he go 4 for 4 from the plate, but he played a defensive game that mirrored some of the best USL softball ever played. He wound up 4 for 4 with 2 triples, two doubles and 6 RBIs. Great game Ryan!!

Justin was a leader through and through. As the captian of his team he is the guy everyone looks to for inspiration. Justin pitched a gem of a game not allowing a run until the 4th inning and only giving up 6 runs total to the high powered No Pants Party Team. His pitching alone was good enough for POW, but he took his game one step further. Bottom of the 7th score tied 6-6 with 1 out and bases loaded, Justin hit a rocket deep to left center off the fence for the game winning hit. This is the type of situation you dream about and he was able to fulfil his dream by coming through with a big base knock. Great Job Justin and Great Win!!

Ron Peterson had ice water in his veins at the plate all game long. He batted 4 for 4 with deep shots to right, left\, center and anywhere else he wanted to place the ball. He also scored 4 runs and drove in 5 runs helping DCOMB throttle Tuesday night's opponent. Great game Ron at the plate and on defense.

Never in the history of Softball has the catcher played such a key role in deciding the game as Megan did tonight. Defense is clearly her speciality as she had her own highlight reel tonight. Megan caught 4 foul ball outs, all on very tough plays, but she wasn't done there. With the game on the line she made a tag out at home in the 5th, 6th, and also in the 7th inning that decided the game. On a side note she also went 3 for 4 batting. For most catchers, that would be a season of highlights, but for Megan it was just another day at the old ballpark. Great Job Megan!!

Shannon Cooley's Hustle Leads to Victory
In a very tight game against a very good team, Mr. Rogers Dodgers were down one run going into the top of the 7th inning. Shannon beat out an infield hit with two outs extending the inning and sparking a 6 run 7th inning. Those 6 runs proved too much to come back from and paved the way for what became a very sweet and well deserved victory. Great job Shannon and great job Dodgers!!

Strong Moves Hold Off Nedenators In Nail Biter
Tony Jones' Offensive Onslaught Sets The Tone Early
In a game that was as close as any game can get going into the later innings, the tone was set early and the play of Tony Jones' on offense was the difference. Tony had an absolutely monsterous night at the plate going 4 for 4 with 2 HRs including a grand slam and a deep 3 run bomb that helped Strong Moves get out to an early lead. He finished the night accounting for 12 of the 17 runs for Strong Moves. Great game Tony and its a pleasure watching you in action.

Anne, channeled her inner Felix tonight pitching an absolute gem. She has a no hitter through the first 3 innings, including a strikeout looking on a guy. She finished the night with her second strikeout looking and only giving up a few runs. She also helped her own cause going 3 for 5 at the plate. With her mound presences she guided her team to a great 23 to 11 win. Great job Anne!!

Darin came to play tonight as he turned in quite a performance. He went 4-5 at the plate with a Home Run and knocked in 4 runs. Most impressive for Darin on the night was turning two double plays at the SS position. The entire performance was needed as Ball So Soft pulled out a narrow victory to move onto the next round of the playoffs. Great game Darin!

AJ pitched all innings of the semis and the championship game as well as bringing a big bat. In the semifinal game he had a 3 Run HR, a grand slam, and a bases loaded triple, knocking in a total of 10 runs! He also had 9 defensive assists from the mound. He played a solid championship game as well 4-5 from the plate and a great game from the rubber. Awesome night AJ!
