Get It Up had a stellar first week! The team ebbed and flowed, transitioning like pros from defense to offense and back. Kelsey was a stand out player - there was one particular rally where every third ball was aimed at her head and she handled them flawlessly. The setter's corner is often an easy zone for opponents to target - but not when Kelsey is there! Well-placed sets, endless hustle, a great attitude - yup, Kelsey is an Underdog rockstar!

The Setting Ducks, a quack-tactic name if you ask me, play some solid volleyball tonight, but there opponent took home all the quackers... er, wins. No matter if the score was 0-0 or they were down by a handful, Ryan was giving his all out effort (we noticed this same effort last week). From the back row, Ryan was making diving saves and then right back up to cover the front row. All with great energy and sportsmanship. The Setting Ducks are a fun team to watch - they truly seem to be enjoying themselves and know how to be competitive without taking everything too seriously. Congrats Ryan for being this week's player of the week!
