Spring Co-ed Kickball at Ballard Boys & Girls Club Sundays

It was opening day for kickball and Lamarr seemed primed and ready to dominate the outfield. Indy kept challenging him with big twisting kicks and he made play after play to keep Barbells&Balls in the game. It was Lamarr running left for a big catch, then it was diving on both knees for another huge catch and of course the incredible running scoop catch and those 3 were all in the same inning! Offensively, he had some struggles early but got it rolling late in game with a couple nice kicks and a run kicked in. All in all a great effort and hopefully just a glimpse of things to come.

Steve had an amazing game that would be the difference maker for his team's clutch win against a talented opponent. He had 2 home runs and 4 RKI's that made up a majority of his team's teams 6 points. Not only was his foot getting a lot of love but so was his face. Somehow the ball managed to find his face when he was up to bat, and he didn't even swing at the ball. It was a hilarious moment where the entire field needed a moment to catch their breath from laughing. Great job on Sunday Steve, keep it up and stay classy!

There was no stopping this guy in the outfield. He laid out several time to make some very impressive catches. He had us all standing in awe and wonder watching his graceful diving like a beautiful green swan. Way to earn that Delta Player of the week T-shirt Matt! You deserve it!

It was championship day and Kendall came prepared to dominate offensively -- and she did. In the first game, a high scoring 15-13 victory, she went 5 for 5 with 2 runs scored and was now warmed up and ready for the championship game. She got her team on the scoreboard in the 3rd with an RKI single and scored a run herself. Again in the 5th, she came through with another RKI single and another run scored giving Shingletown their first lead. Kendall would kick 2 more singles [she got on base every time for 2 games], one in the 6th and an even more important one in the bottom of the 8th that eventually came into score and was the winning run in the championship game. Well played Kendall!
