Hard fought opening night victory
Adam Harris had 4 TD catches and a diving interception leading United Nations to a 32-20 win over State Property. Harris scored on two long throws in the first half. In the 2nd half he scored on a short throw and then turned a short pass into a long touchdown with an some outstanding YAC. Adam also stymied an early State Property drive by making a diving interception deep in the State Property end of the field. Great Job, Adam!

This weeks player of the week goes to the endless stats earned by Kyle Yonago. Kyle did everything as his team supported him and spectated from the field. He caught pass after pass from both his quarterback and the opponents QB, and quickly found the goal line. He scored multiple times racking up points on the scoreboard and giving his team a big win. Great job on offense and defense Kyle.

Marwah's Big Arm Leads Crop Dusters
Win close one over The Unit
Ricky Marwah had a big night with his big arm, throwing 4 TD passes, leading the Crop Dusters over The Unit, 28-27. In a game that was back and forth most of the night, Ricky was able to avoid the uncoming pressure and consistently hit receivers down field. The 4 TD passes were a record (at least for Tuesday nights game) and showcased his uncanny ablilty to survey the field and pick out the open receiver. Great Job, Ricky!

Sliding catch in the end zone
Sean Donnelly made a sliding catch in the end zone with 28 seconds remaining in the game, leading The United Nations to a win over Rip It. In a game that teetered back and forth all evening, Donnelly's catch capped a length of the field drive that answered the Rip It score in the final minute. Sean also played outstanding defense, recording a number of flag pulls in key spots. It was the game of the night at Jaunita. Great game, Sean!

Nelson Leads Rip It With Arm and Face
5 TD Passes key win
Cody Nelson's 5 TD passes broke open a game that was tight for most of the first half, leading Rip It to a 36-8 win over the Crop Dusters. Cody also was relentless in his pass rushing, going so far as to block a potential 1st down pass with his FACE. Even though the pass to the face momentarily stunned him, Cody regrouped and continued his menacing of the Crop Duster quarterback. Nelson's 5 TD passes including a beautiful long throw on 3rd down a 2 long cones. An excellent performance on both sides of the ball. Great Work, Cody!

This weeks player of the week goes to Austin R. for taking the game into his own hands. While leading his team on offense, Austin had little time to work with due to the lopsided time of possession. Austin threw for 4 TD's, but with the game on the line Austin made an interception on his opponents last drive with seconds on the clock taking the ball and the game in his own hands, and advancing past a great opponent. Great job Austin.

Battled Up form The Cellar
This weeks honors go to Vertically Challenged for battling up from the bottom of the seeding chart. Vertically challenge were also bracket challenged as they had to face all the tougher teams to make it to the final game of the night. In their final two games their offense put up 81 points making their opponents chase all game. Their QB Brent put up monster numbers with 12 TD passes, and very few incompletions. Great job Vertically Challenged!
