Natalie had an awesome game on Tuesday night, leading her team with kills and aces from everywhere on the court. She kept her team cool and collected during a tough match and put the ball down after some long rallies.
Brian Mayer, swift and skillful covers and attacks.
A player that truly knows how to cover the court and always has his eye on the ball, Brian Mayer never let a point go unfought! He showed great movement that displayed his foresight of his opponents' attacks which set his team up for the offensive rebuttal. It was a fair and competitive game that was well played by all!
Zack Nicol's arms outstretched the top of the net and were ready to block any attack that came his way. His height and strength gave him the advantage and his skill made him a beast at the net! While his team was on the attack, they set him up perfectly to make his approach and let loose his killer swing! He had some impressive force and ultimately helped his team take the match!
WOW! That word is, effectively, the only way to describe Jodie’s big moment. Jodie of I’d Hit That exhibited superior athleticism when he/she was serving. While it was close to the end of the game, Jodie continued pushing, seemingly defying the laws of physics in the process. The pure strength behind her serves were to drop the jaws of all witnesses to the scene. For stunning everyone with consistency and power, Jodie is our player of the week.
On occasion, sports offer a platform for an athlete to transcend the competition and the game played. Such was the case when Max of The M's transcended volleyball with his outstanding performance. Often the M's turned to Max when they needed a player to count on. Time and time again, Max answered the call, involving himself in every single play. The jaw-dropping moment came in the third set, when Max swung at the net with power and consistency, pumping up the team while making a fantastic comeback and winning the match. For his spectacular performance, Max is our Player of the Week! Congratulations!
On occasion, sports offer a platform for an athlete to transcend the competition and the game played. Such was the case when Austin of Attack Pack transcended volleyball with his outstanding performance. Attack Pack often turned to Austin when they needed someone to swing hard during a play. Time and time again, Austin answered the call, recording countless aces and powerful hits along the way. The most shocking moment came in the second set, when Austin flew into the air on the outside and snapped the ball straight down to the floor of his team’s opponent. He was not only a key player, but a crucial teammate. He was the glue who kept the team together, focused, and excited for each victory. For his consistent hits, serves and positivity, Austin is our Player of the Week! Congratulations!
