Kipp Marstall
Pitch Please
Kipp was an absolute monster out there. Kicking balls left and right and stretching extra bases which turned into multiple runs for his team. And he was a ballergies on defense making tons of catches and throws to first base for crucial outs. Also definitely most spirited.

Jessica Howard
Pitches Be Crazy
Jessica had a great command of the mound. She was Miss Consistent out there, constantly tossing strike after strike. This game was a pitchers duel and Jessica was the one to come out on top. Even thought the game ended in a tie, I thought her example of leadership and great play disserved mention.

Megan Martin
Basic Pitches
Megan M was incredible at the plate this evening. For two games straight, Megan was perfect at the plate, ending the night an incredible 8/8 with 4 runs scored. She was a big part of every rally her team had, whether starting an inning off with a base hit or driving in a run. Megan's great performance helped her team win both of their games tonight, nice work Megan!

Andy Dumich
Pitch Please
Andy had a monster game defensively. He played first all game and there seemed to be 5 of him on the field. he ended up catching more or less 100 balls in the infield and really held down the position. Offensively he was a big part of Pitch Please's success, with a couple majestic drives that led to RBIs for him and then RBIs for the people behind him who drove him in.

Geoffrey Fisher
Double Play King
Geoffrey was the center of attention in this game because for some reason he kept getting double play after double play. I thought to myself "This has to be the luckiest guy ever to play kickball," because I have never seen one person get so many double plays in one game. It was absolutely insane! He did however try to get greedy on one of them by trying to stretch it into a triple play by catching it at first, tagging first base and throwing back to second. But as it would happen he would have to be content with his third double play because he slipped on the base and fell on his bum. No worries Geoff it was still and incredible play and an even more spectacular game.
It was late in the 6th inning when Paul tweaked his hamstring chasing down a fly ball in right field. Undeterred, Paul moved to 1st base for the next inning. On a pop fly to his area, Paul heroically hobbled under the ball and secured the important out. For his gritty play, Paul is our POTW. Congratulations!

Jake Spiezle
Anybody but Kipp
Jake had an absolutely amazing performance this week. The game was tight for the first couple innings but then Jake opened the flood gates by kicking a grand slam which rallied his team to pour on the runs. He also made some clutch plays on defense but it was how he lead by example behind the plate and kicked in a majority of his teams runs. And most especially why we decided to award him player of the week was because he was not Kipp. Way to not be Kipp, Jake!

Adam Heide
Basic Pitches
Dj dump truck gets player of the week for his excellent performance on the mound and at bat. On defense he made several Jeter like throws from the mound to first on bunts. And on offense he was a part of kicking in multiple RBI's that helped his team crush their competition. Absolutely a spectacular performance from a very special player that deserves all the praise from his team.
Beth deserves the honor of player of the week this week for he superb performance at the plate. Being perfect and kicking 1000 earned her props from her teammates. What earned her props from her opponents was her amazing tipped catch at short stop. She backed up her third baseman and managed to secure a catch off of the tip from him. It was stunning and her team went nuts while her opponents were in awe. It was an awesome performance, congrats on the win and the honor of earning player of the week.
Brad had a night to remember in leading his team to the ship! Brad start the incredible night off by pitching a scoreless 1st inning in the semi-final match following up with a monstrous 3 run homer in the bottom of the same inning. After a relatively uneventful semi final win, Brad again lead his team to victory in the Championship game in what proved to be a more contentious match up. Even after the red sun disappeared and the night began to take over and compromise the vision of many players, Brad right on queue, clinched the win for his team with a game ending double play.
