Fresh Kick of Ball-Air, Medicine Balls, Stranger Danger - Indy #K8, Pac Studs
Dan Magliozzi
Test Eagles
Dan M had himself a game! Dan went 4 for 4 at the plate, placing the ball where he wanted to every time. His opponents catcher was even giving him props by the end of the game. On top of his excellent offensive day, Dan was his team's rock in right centerfield catching everything he could get his hands on! Way to start the season Dan!

Kati O'Brien
Fresh Kick of Ball-Air
Captain Kati lead her team by getting on base 100% of the time. She did an absolute fantastic job at introducing all the new people on her team to the game. She was the ideal captain, one who leads by example.

Trish Hasz this
Play Through the Pain
Pac studs were faced with their first kickball game since 3rd grade. On the first play Trish was to open the game. She kicked ran and looked to be done. Much to everyone's surprise she pushed through and got on base 4 of 5 loading the bases twice for a huge 6th inning comeback. Great game Trish

Dave Garland
Remote Medical International
Talk about highlight reel! On three consecutive defensive plays, Dave recorded three consecutive outs at second base. In the first instance, a screaming line drive hit right toward him was fielded expertly. In the second case a high pop up was hit to shallow right field which Dave was able to run underneath and make a great over the shoulder catch. And to top it all off, on a deep kick to straightaway centerfield, Dave track with the play only to be called off by the outfielder, who missed the catch but kept it in the air, allowing Dave to dive for it and save the out before the ball hit the ground. Amazing play!

Dustin Hawes
Test Eagles
Dustin had a stellar game at the plate that lit like dynamite in the first inning with a 3 run triple. Just like that the Test Eagles were rolling and Dustin continued adding runs with an RKI in the 3rd and a 2 run single in the 5th that put the game nearly out of reach--up fourteen runs. As pitcher, he threw a 6 inning shutout that was helped along with his ranging defense and ability to make the throws to first for big outs. An outstanding performance all around and a well deserved POTW.

Christian Leach
Pac Studs
Christian leach is our player of the week for a great all around game. At the plate he was 3/4 with two triples and 3 rki's. On defense he had the play of the night, with a runner charging from third, and a low throw, Christian did all he could and pushed the ball towards the runner and got him just before the runner could reach the plate. Nice work Christian!!

Emily Ribitch
The Cattlemilkers
Emily Ribitch gets some well deserved props for being a great Underdog captain. She's the first one there every week and stays on top of her teammates to make sure they show up, and even if it's right at game time they always come through. During the game she always keeps things light and fun no matter what the score is. Thanks for being a great captain Emily!

Meritt Peterson
Pitch, Please
In a game heavy on defense, Meritt Peterson played a complete game at first base. Pitch, Please only allowed one run all game; much of that was due to Meritt's defense. In addition to her play in the field, Meritt had a great day at the plate as well. She knocked in a run with a double that landed between the third baseman and left field and hit a triple to lead off an inning. Meritt's efforts put Pitch, Please in front, and her defense kept them there. Congrats Meritt!

Kaitie Edmonds
Test Eagles
Kaitie had a great night tonight scoring multiple runs, knocking in a few RBIs and making plenty of outs. On her first score of the night Kaitie was so enthused that she slid across home plate, Then on her next at bat, she kicked the ball so hard it took her feet right out from under her, still made first base and recorded an RBI though. Congratulations on the win and way to play.

Jordan Montgomery
Pitch, Please
Jordan had an amazing game both out in the field and at the plate. He made many catches in right and made no errors. At the plate Jordan went 3-4 with some crucial RBI hits.

Dan Magliozzi
Test Eagles
LVP! LVP! LVP! Dan had a very interesting evening recording outs on both sides of the ball. On defense he was solid in the field, keeping every kick in front of himself and contributing to multiple outs. On offense Dan was part of a monster six run inning, unfortunately he was also responsible for such a ridiculous spin on the ball that it came back and knocked him out, in more ways than one. Congratulations on a very unique performance.
Emily showed great hustle on the basepaths during their game. She stretched a single first to third and had an amazing slide in to be safe. She had solid defense as well letting nothing by at second.
Today, it seemed as though there were three Richard's in the outfield. Anything that was hit into the outfield was quickly enveloped into his waiting arms throughout both games. Richard was phenomenal on defense and good enough on offense to score multiple runs in both games. Congratulations on the wins and way to play.
