Summer Co-ed Softball at North Ballard Sundays

Becky P earns this week's Player of the Week award for her outstanding performance during her team's doubleheader. In the first game, she pitched the entire thing, keeping her team in the game after allowing some early runs. In the second she gave the pitching duties away, but still shined out there in the field, making numerous great catches. At the dish, she didn't get out the entire day, constantly sending line drives into the outfield. There was a close play at second, and she had a very professional slide to be safe under a tag. It cut up her knee, but she brushed it off like it was nothing. Great job out there, Becky!

Patrick Earley led the way for Rich and Jay's Love Children in convincing victory over the Canlis 86ers on Sunday. Earley reached base safely in each at bat, going 6 for 6 on the day. Serving as the teams captain, he showed his players how it was done and set the tone for his teams win.
