Drops 33 on Pitches Be Crazy

TransWest has arrived on the Underdog scene and they are the real deal. Just watching them briefly is an indicator that they are in this league to win a title and any teams that square off with them had better bring your A game and take a hustle pill beforehand. They are stacked from top to bottom with some very delicious pitching and some very, very hot bats. Their defense hasn't really been tested thus far but will be in the weeks to come. Great win and great job starting off the season as the league favorites.

It was a pity, seeing as the second bomb was on a pitch that practically bounced in and was golfed over the fence by a good 30 feet. Kyle's power, even if in vain, earns him player of the week!

Balco Bombers Are Back

Team In Very Familiar Place

The Balco Bombers are back on the scene and looking like the team of old. Their defense and offense has been reborn and all aspects of their game have been upgraded significantly. On Friday night they handled TransWest with ease holding them to zero runs from the 4th inning on while ripping off 9 runs in the 3rd to take a commanding lead. They never looked back and continued to pound the ball throughout making it very difficult for TranWest to mount a comeback or respond with anything significant.The Bombers are back so league teams beware and please bring your A game when you square off with them. This team is the real deal and takes no prisoners on the softball field. Great win and great game everyone.

Coming Through in the Clutch

With his team down 3 in the playoffs and the bases loaded, Robert Scott was the man with all the load on his shoulders. The inning was 6, the time running short, the stakes high. Robert remarked to a teammate there was no way he would be able to do anything, but that changed with one swing. Robert blasted the ball out of Lower Woodlands and into the parking lot to secure the lead with a grand slam.

Sometimes destiny knocks twice. In the last inning Robert found himself in a similar situation, now with a chance for a walk-off. Amd he delivered a moon shot double high off the wall to win the game.

It was a playoff performance for the ages, and it makes Robert the Player of the Week!
