Summer Co-ed Flag Football at Juanita HS Tuesdays

Liz Ingram had 4 sacks and a number of key catches leading Sign Up Digital to a opening night win over the Gators. Liz put constant pressure on the Gator QB forcing some turnovers and keeping him off balance the entire night. Her great work is another example of defense winning championships. Great Job, Liz!

Just when it looked like the perennial favorite was on the ropes for the first time this season, Cody Nelson almost single handedly willed Rip It to a come from behind win over Super Chill, 31-30. Trailing by 2 TD's late in the 2nd half,. Nelson engineered a touchdown drive to pull Rip it within 6, then on the ensuing drive, made a beautiful interception to set up Rip Its tying TD with 11 seconds lelt on the clock. Too put icing on the proverbial cake, Nelson rolled to his right and ran into the endzone for the go ahead conversion. Great Night, Cody!

This weeks player of the week goes to Liz Smith and her all around solid performance with TD's, INT's, PAT's. She lead her team in all abbreviated stats, and put a win in the books with a bit of help from her team-mates. Liz had 3 TD passes, PAT, and 1 INT on defense. Great game Liz!

Trevor Johnson scored on a long TD run as time expired, breaking a 42-42 tie, leading the Gators to a 48-42 win over XXX Coverage. With 12 ticks on the clock, it looked as though overtime was in the offing. But on what turned out to be the final play of the game, Trevor scrambled away from the XXX rusher, then took off downfield, avoiding a team of would-be flag pullers and scampered into the end zone for the game winning TD.
