Arda! This week's winner of the Player of the Week! He was playing a great catcher, fielding numerous bunts through both games. When the chips were down and his team was trailing toward the end of the second game and the darkness beginning to creep in, Arda destroyed a pitch into the deep outfield and raced around the bases for a grand slam! He ran so hard that he almost ran through the fence 20 feet away from home plate! He was all good, and the 4 runs that he plated ended up being the difference in the game. Well done, Arda!
Jane Gregg made the play of the week on Tuesday, saving the tie game for Ballz N' Dollz. Playing 3rd base in the bottom of the 7th with the score tied at 8, Jane fielded a groundball with the bases loaded and pegged the runner heading toward home in the back for the 2nd out. Her team then retired the side with the next kicker to hang on for an 8-8 tie.

Tucker Abbott
Kicking the ball Free
Tucker had one heck of a game today! In the last inning down by 1 he smashed a long kick for a strong triple and taking the lead with 2 runner crossing! This wasnt tuckers first show of great feat as he was responsible for the first 3 point with a HR slam to center field! great game Tucker!
Nick "The Marshmallow" Malo was a beast on the field. He used his leg to kick in multiple runs and a even had a ground rule double. He also killed it on defense and caused two thirds of the outs. Bloop*
Dorrie did it all today! She was great at the mound and no bunt got past her. She did great to throw out anyone who dared kick the ball to her. She also kick tail kicking the ball. She was strong at getting on base and moving players into scoring position. She finished off her opponents in the 7th with two throws to 2nd and a catch to seal the deal! Great game Dorrie!
Kim was able to lift his team's spirita following their loss in the first game and was a big reason why Pitch Please was able to win game 2. After a loss like they suffered in game 1, lesser teams would have folded and lost in game 2. Kim was a big reason why this didn't happen, in addition to his HR and 3 RBI in game 2, Kim was able to keep his team's spirits high with positive energy.
This Thursday at Cascade Park, Dorrie was the voice of her team, captaining them to a great victory! Consistently, Dorrie was calling out who was up, on deck, and in the hole. This kept her team organized and efficient. Defensively, Dorrie dominated on the pitcher's mound, pitching strikes and fielding bunts cleanly. For her efforts. Dorrie is our player of the week. Congratulations!
Now even though her team did not win and she did not get player of the game. I though it was a worthy mention that Stephanie get awarded the player of the week because she was responsible for the first triple play that I have seen at underdog kickball. Bases were loaded and there were no outs. Ball is kicked into the air towards her, at pitcher. She catches it and throws out the runner trying to get back to third, and then they throw out the other runner trying to get back from second to first. It was an amazing showing of teamwork that captivated everyone at the field.
Justin had a great day at the park today. In his team's playoff game he made huge plays all over the field in the outfield, running down several balls and turning them into big outs. Offensively he had a couple big hits too that really kept the offense rolling. It all culminated in the eighth inning of their game. Justin came up with the winning run on third and less than two outs and came through in the clutch, delivering the walk off sacrifice fly to send his team onto the next round. Without Justin the game definitely would have looked much different and because of that Justin is the player of the week.
Kipp earns the kickball gold glove for his performance in centerfield during his team's championship run this last Thursday at Cascade Park. He tracked down numerous Kicks, turning in impressive overhead catches along the way. Power hitters that dared kick towards Kipp had a bad day! For his performance, Kipp is our player of the week. Congratulations!
