Winter Gentlemens Flag Football at Juanita HS Tuesdays

Edwin T earns this week's Player of the Week award for coming down with 3 TD's, leading his team to a 4 point victory. Edwin was all over the place, catching them deep and short, couldn't be handled all night.

If Underdog had a fantasy football league similar to that of the NFL Faruk would have had an 80pt effort. Making catch after catch for a ridiculous amount of yardage and multiple scores Faruk could not be stopped on offense. Throw it deep and he'll run under it to make the reception, throw it short and he'll make em' miss all the way down the field, this man has found his groove in the underdog system. Stellar performance and congratulations on the win.

In a close game every point matters. Grant contributed six of those points toward the victory, but he gets player of the week for all of his energy. Running routes to their full completion every time and occupying defender to allow teammates to get open is a task few enjoy taking up. But that is exactly what Grant did this week, using his energy and enthusiasm to draw defenders while teammates made plays. Congratulations on the win and way to play!

Jonathan was a defensive mastermind this week. He racked up four sacks, some short yardage tackles and plenty of quarterback hurries. His rushing kept the offense from completing their full routes and prevented the quarterback from ever feeling truly comfortable in the pocket. And while his defensive side was on point today, his offense wasn't too bad either. Three catches to move the chains, one touchdown and one extra point added up to a fantastic day.
