Winter Midcore Kickball in Ballard Saturdays

T.J. was on fire today. Not a ball could get by him. The Chubbies today met with a long time foe....Ball Related. The battle seemed as if it would be close in the first few innings, but T.J. had another idea.his quick hands and strong throws kept the family off the bases and in the dugout. Great game T.J.!!!

In the closest game of the Jake Kinsley's savvy veteran move at third base proved to be the difference. In the bottom of the seventh and final inning with the tying run on third base, New Kicks On the Block female laid down a great bunt down the third base line. Jake fielded the ball at third and faked a throw to first pulling the runner off the bag just enough for him to turn around and tag him out for the second out in the inning. If the runner would have stayed put, the next kicker would have driven him home and tied the game. Thanks to Jake's great play, Ball Related held on to their 7-6 lead and won the game. Nice Work Jake!!
