Common tactics suggest that for a better chance as scoring, you should move the ball up the field slowly until your team is in a good position to score. Not for the Rebelz, Long balls early gave them a sizeable advantage over their opponents, and their ability to convert on gender and fourth down plays kept them in possession of the ball and scoring. A few excellent plays on defense didn't hurt either, such as running down an opponent from across the field and getting the occasional interception or two.
