Dat Ace Though

Tim showed off some impressive skills tonight. Sure, Dat Ace Though fell short, but won soundly in their 3rd set thanks to the serving streak Tim was on. We counted 10 straight serves that resulted in points. With an Ace like that, you can bet this team will turn it around in no time. But this serving extraordinaire isn't just limited to the back line, his net play ranks with the best of them as he has no trouble sending some devastating spikes to the other side. Great job tonight!

Luke is this week's player of the week! He and his team played truly excellent tonight. The Vollipops have played enough games with each other to run like a well oiled machine. Luke stood out tonight, though, for his incredible consistency all around the court. He was firing on all cylinders tonight, and whenever he got set, his team could count on him to come down with a kill. The most impressive part of Luke's game tonight, though, was his serving. Whenever he went back to the line his team went on a run, usually due to ace after ace. Congrats to Luke and the Vollipops!

Jeanette had a lot of hustle and heart tonight!! She is a consistent player who is always there on coverage. She had some amazing serves and great ups. Although Jeanette was quiet on the court, it was apparent that her team had full trust in her abilities. Great job, Jeanette! Keep up the good work :)

Morgan played volleyball at First Baptist Thursday this week and did a great job of being awesome at volleyball on and off the court. Off the court she is super nice and understanding with a smile that can light up the room. On the court she has mean hits and digs. Her serves are also something not to be reckoned with as they are fast and well placed. Morgan's team "Dat Ace Though" won their last match which means they can advance to the semi- and final finals, and with her spectacular teamlike attitude and crazy volleyball skills I'm sure they'll take home the prize. Goodluck next week Morgan! Keep it up

Claire is an awesome player who is on the team Extrahoppers. Her team also won the championship title for Thursdays at First Baptist! Claire plays with great intensity and form. Her hits/serves are well placed and her passes high and on the 10 foot line. She is very vocal on the court and makes sure everyone knows they're doing well. Great Job throughout the season Claire!
