With a 9-3 victory over the Vajazzlers, Shawn Kemp's Firstborn wrapped up a dominant season in Everett. Though it lacked the rains from the previous game, the Midcore Championship game featured plenty of mud. SKFB jumped on top early, scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the first. However, the Vajazzlers settled down on defense and managed to hold them over the next three innings. Unfortunately, their offense could not get untracked, and it was still 4-0 heading into the fifth inning. In the bottom of the frame, SKFB finally broke the game open, scoring 4 more runs, keyed by a 3-run homerun by Paul Swanson, and the champs cruised from there.
