After Another Great Season Big Balls Falls to Powerhouse Mother Chukars Last session the Big Balls team made it to the semifinals where they ran into an undefeated Cubicalsex team. This year they took it a step further by defeating The Angry Dolphins to make it to the finals. Although they were happy to be in the final match they had the taxing job of taking on league titan, Mother Chukars. The Mother Chukars were undefeated to this point.
The Chukars took the first two games. Big Balls came back to win the third and make it 1-2. This awoke the sleeping Mother Chukars who went on to win the remaining matches.
Both teams ventured over to Eastburn for a good time of PBR and commradery that transcended the center line.
Balls a flyin The championship game was fast paced, and full of excitement! Balls were flying, and flying with velocity.
With the experience of both teams, the matches were long which helped the Geoducks, since they jumped out early with the lead. With the Championship game only going four games it was tough for headshot to catch-up. Agitated Geoducks showed up ready to play, with looks on their faces almost not recognizable. They won and did so in good fashion. Nice job Geoducks!!
The match of all Matches This was a well anticipated match between two very well rounded teams. Shooting Cheney's who have played together for 2 years, and the Bombardiers, who are new to the league, but youwould never know it. Both teams come to have fun, are fun to watch. Every player is strong, and knows their role on the team. When it comes to hard throwing, catching, and dodgeing, both teams have many players that fit the mold. On this this the throws and catches were going The Shooting Cheney's way. They were on their game early and took the wind out of the sails of Bombardiers early. That did not stop the efforts of both teams, who no matter what were having a great time! Thanks to both teams, and look forward to seeing you next season!!!
Softcore Championship This was a match between the familiar faces of "Chuck Norris" and a new team "Superman that throw". Both teams are great and alot of fun. Superman that throw came with there game faces, while the 5 players from Chuck Norris were a bit beat-up and under the weather. Superman that throw won by the margin of 4 to 2. It was a great match of the new team who learned fast as the season went, and the team who has logged many dodgeball hours already. The player of the game goes to Tom Wyrwich, who stepped-up his efforts, and carried superman that throw their victory. Great match by both teams, and two teams that are alot of fun.
On top early! This match consisted of two very hard throwing teams with great athletes, and a very competetive. Scoregasm was able to jump out quick with the first 4 wins, but knowing Headshot they were not going to lay down. They came back winning two games, but scoregasm was able to burn some clock which diminished Headshots chance to come back. Great matchup and two fun teams for the league. Scoregasm wins 5 to 2!! Great job!
Bench time? Nope Game Time! This was a great matchup for the championship of softcore Dodgeball! Both teams are strong at every aspect, and fun to watch. This night though Bench time came out on top! It was close and went to the end 4 to 3 with bench time victorious. Everyone had to chip in to beat the tough Attack Ninjas who did not go quietly. Great job Bench time.
