Staff Testimonials
“I like working here because the atmosphere is very friendly, laid back and encouraging. There are a lot of opportunities for advancement and the pay scale is very nice, especially for a part time job... Underdog has a genuine interest in their employees, which is very refreshing from the last place I worked, and is probably my favorite quality about the company.”– Peter Lutovsky, Flag Football Referee since February 2006
“I enjoy [working with USL]. I really like the people in our league, as well as other officials. I think it’s a really good organization that I feel will only get more and more popular as the league continues to grow.”– Christina Stewart, Field Admin, Bowling and Mini Golf Supervisor since May 2006
“I enjoy the job. I actually started a full-time job and don’t need the income from Underdog anymore. I stay because I enjoy working with the other refs and the players in the leagues.”– Bryan Huie, Flag Football and Dodgeball Referee since September 2006
I enjoy working for USL. The team is supportive and laid back. I never get the feeling I’m bad at what I do, but I do feel like I can make a call and get the clarification I need to make it right.” – Jeremy Brown, Flag Football Referee since January 2007

Dodgeball moves fast - so the refs have to be on top of things. At the same time... it's not the Superbowl, it's a kid's game. So, you have to have the old school sport spirit, too. If you are a fan of the game we all know and love from the playground, come help us provide Dodgeball in a fun league environment. Grown-Ups playing a kids game is amusing to watch - whether you're in the dugout, the stands, or behind the plate. Underdog Kickball is the biggest league in the Northwest, and growing fast. We are always looking for girls and guys to join our Kickball umpire staff. You'll need a strong grasp of the rules of baseball/softball, and a great attitude. Want to get paid to be out on the beach this summer? Underdog Beach Volleyball is bigger than ever. The supervisor position is not all fun in the sun - but it isn't bad, either. Supervisors must have a schedule that allows them to be at the beach no later than 4:30 PM to set up nets and prepare for the league. From there, supervisors are responsible for making sure the games get started on time, managing any league paperwork, and breaking the nets down at the end of the night. A personal car or truck is a must for this position. Matches are self officiated, so no reffing will be required.
